Who We Serve
Dedicated to middle-school young men seeking a supportive peer space to navigate the challenges of growing up today.
Young Kings Peer Support
We Matter Mental Health Services proudly offers Young Kings, an 8-week group therapy program for middle-school-aged young men throughout central Florida. This inclusive peer support group welcomes participants of all races, ethnicities, religions, and backgrounds.
Young Kings addresses real challenges of modern growth: academic stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity exploration, and relationship struggles. Licensed clinicians and trained facilitators guide members through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and culturally responsive healing traditions. Participants build emotional vocabulary, recognize behavioral patterns, and develop personalized regulation strategies for life.
This program creates a safe, affirming environment where young men connect with peers who understand the journey. Members grow resilience, strengthen communication skills, and embrace healthy masculinity. We affirm all faiths, identities, and lived experiences.
Our hybrid format combines online and in-person sessions for flexibility. We prioritize affordability through insurance options and self-pay rates. Each class runs for 8 weeks and costs no more than $40 per session, or you can use your insurance.
